Coach Reese and Coach Abbey would like to thank everyone who helped out with the Whittenburg relays yesterday. We could not have done it without the support of the community and hard work and dedication the students put into it. We appreciate all who were there!
High School Biology was at it again! This time dissecting cow eyes!
On Wednesday, 1st-5th graders who completed the 40 book challenge celebrated by going to see the Super Mario Brothers movie and had lunch at Potters pizza in Abilene, TX. We are very proud of their accomplishments and the hard work they have shown this year!

The Winters Independent School District and WHS Alumni Association established the "Winters High School Distinguished Alumnus Award" in 2013 to recognize former graduates who have accomplished extraordinary achievements in their life's work. They must have graduated at least 10 years prior to year in which nominated, should have been a leader in his/her field or made a significant contribution, and/or brought exceptional distinction to the individual or their community.
Nominees must be of good character and have earned a high level of respect within their community.
Requirements include the verifiable documentation of accomplishments and completed application form returned to the address listed below:

Our Elementary Art students worked really hard on their Easter portraits...it took longer than expected to cross the finish line, but better late than never! We are so proud of their talent and creativity.

2022-2023 FFA Banquet

The welding class has repainted and repaired the "Welcome to Winters " signs on the South and East sides of Winters, they also added a new Blizzard to them.
All FFA students, parents, teachers, administrators, and school board members are welcome to attend the FFA Banquet tonight, May 11, 2023 at 7pm. Dinner will be provided by Nan and Pop's Diner. Hope to see everyone there.
Our 3rd grade classes hosted their annual Market Day today! These are homemade projects made to help teach our students more about finance. Each grade was able to make their way around and shop at various student vendors! We are so proud of them and their hard work!
WES would like to say a big thank you to those who have helped us keep our belly’s full and our hearts warmed!
Mariah Briley was generous and made sure we stayed hydrated with a tea bar.
Jackie Black baked us a wonderful breakfast. WES staff also able to enjoy a Nacho Bar and a popcorn bar.

Mrs. Cooper does so much for the students at all three of our campuses. She is very loving and kind to all of her patients. Words cannot express how much we love and appreciate all the hard work that she does to keep our kids healthy and happy- all while having a smile on her face. She is one of kind and we are blessed to have her. Happy School Nurse day Mrs. Cooper!
