WISD junior high and high school enjoyed a career field trip to Great Wolf Lodge! Students got to tour the facilities and see the behind scenes operations that go into making it such a success! Students also got to enjoy the ropes course and water park for part of the day!

Hey there, Winters ISD community! We've got some exciting news to share with you all. We're thrilled to introduce Kathy Horner as our Interim Superintendent of Schools. With her extensive background in education and leadership, Mrs. Horner brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role.
For those who've been with us for a while, you recognize Mrs. Horner, as the Director of Curriculum for the past 4 years, and prior to this she was Principal and Dean of Students at Winters Secondary schools. Together with Kathy’s leadership, we're looking forward to continuing to provide a top-notch education for our students and supporting our incredible staff.

During Elementary lunch in the cafeteria a student reported a student said they had a gun in their backpack. Administration and authorities were immediately notified. Student was removed from the cafeteria without incident. An investigation has occurred, no firearm was found, and all facilities are secured.
