It's National Assistant Principal's week and we want to recognize our Elementary AP, Ms. Strange! She shows up every day ready to work and serve those around her. She is passionate about guiding our students to be their very best self and providing an environment to learn and grow. We are so thankful she's a Winters Blizzard and for all that she does for our Elementary!

Happy Librarian's Day to Mrs. Wendy Cortez at Winters Secondary School!

Principles of Construction students Weston Beuschel, Diego Rodriguez, and Guillermo Levario built a bench as a project, it is currently located outside the cafeteria's main entrance.

Paraprofessional: the heartfelt hero’s. Using their talents to help students discover their own. Dedicating their time and energy each day to the students in your care, and doing it all while meeting the individual needs of many. Winters Elementary has a wonderful group of paraprofessionals that go above and beyond daily for our students. We appreciate everything that they do!

Some of our students competed in the Special Olympics today! We are so proud of these competitors and how hard they worked. The mission of Special Olympics Texas is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Today is National Librarian Day! Winters Elementary has an amazing Librarian who makes reading fun and encouraging for our students. She always has a smiling face and a warm heart! Mrs. Pearce, we are very grateful to have you as our fearless Librarian at Winters Elementary.
