Winters ISD Celebrating the Total Solar Eclipse Monday April 8, 2024
As you may well know on Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Winters ISD is celebrating and providing an opportunity for viewing and learning during the eclipse for all Students. Glasses will be provided for all students and staff to observe on that day.

The start of the eclipse for Winters will begin at 12:17pm and end at 2:56pm. Maximum eclipse will take place at 1:36 pm. Spectators in the Winters area will observe 97.4% concealment of the Sun during this time.

Eclipse Safety
